What we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. In short: we collect very little, and we do not track you.

The short version. This website has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no contact forms. We only hold the information you choose to send us when you get in touch, and we never sell or share it for marketing.

We are the data controller for the personal information described here.
If you email or call us, we hold what you send: typically your name, email address, telephone number, the name of your organisation and whatever you tell us about your project. We use it only to reply and to carry out work you ask us to do.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are generated automatically by the web server and are used to keep the site running securely. We do not use them to build any profile of you.
We set no analytics or advertising cookies. The software running the site (WordPress, Elementor and our caching system) may set strictly necessary cookies that keep pages loading correctly. These do not identify you and are not used for marketing, which is why you are not asked to accept cookies when you arrive.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing purposes.
Under UK GDPR we rely on two lawful bases. Where you have asked us to quote for or carry out work, we process your information to take steps at your request and to perform that contract. Where you make a general enquiry, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us. Records relating to completed work are kept for six years, which is the period we may need them for tax and legal purposes. Server logs are kept for a short period by our host and then overwritten.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top.
