Accessibility statement.

We build accessible websites for our clients, so we hold our own to the same standard. This is an honest account of where this site stands.

This statement applies to the My Graphic Designer website. We want as many people as possible to be able to use it, whatever device they are on and however they navigate.

How this site measures up

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This site is partially conformant: most of the standard is met, and the exceptions are listed below. We have chosen to describe the gaps rather than claim full compliance, because the site has not been independently audited.

What we have done

  • Every image carries alternative text, and images that are purely decorative are correctly hidden from screen readers
  • Each page has a single main heading, and heading levels run in order without skipping
  • A “skip to content” link lets keyboard users bypass the navigation
  • All interactive elements show a clear focus outline when tabbed to
  • Body text is tested for contrast: the main text measures around 12:1 against its background, well beyond the 4.5:1 the standard requires
  • Animation is disabled automatically for anyone whose device is set to reduce motion, including the moving logo and testimonial rows
  • Links describe where they go; there is no “click here”
  • Layouts reflow down to small screens without horizontal scrolling
  • An accessibility toolbar is available on every page for adjusting text size, contrast and spacing

Known issues

We are aware of the following and intend to address them:

  • The site has not been tested by an independent accessibility auditor, and has not been formally tested with every combination of screen reader and browser

Enforcement

The Equality Act 2010 requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people. If you contact us about an accessibility problem and are not happy with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service.

How this was assessed

This site was assessed internally in September 2026 by reviewing the underlying markup and styles, measuring colour contrast, and checking heading structure, alternative text, link text, keyboard focus and reduced-motion behaviour on every page.
